Imagine a classroom filled with wide-eyed children, their faces aglow with excitement. This was the scene at Kidz Shaishav school, Montessori wing and Vedic School as students from grades 5 to 12 embarked on an unforgettable educational journey to Delhi.
Our young explorers were transported to a world of wonder as they visited the Nehru Planetarium, the Prime Minister’s Museum, the National Science Center, and the iconic India Gate. At the Planetarium, they gazed in awe at the simulated night sky, learning about the formation of stars, galaxies, and the universe itself.
The Prime Minister’s Museum provided an opportunity for students to delve into the history of India’s leadership and the making of the Constitution. Many were thrilled to pose for selfies with the statue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the National Science Centre. Students were captivated by the interactive exhibits that brought science to life. From exploring the human body to understanding the principles of flight, there was something to pique everyone’s curiosity. “I loved the part about robots,” said 10-year-old Rohan. “I want to build one myself now!”
The trip was more than just a sightseeing excursion. It was a journey of discovery that sparked a lifelong interest in science and technology. By exposing students to real-world applications of scientific concepts, the school aims to foster a generation of innovative thinkers and problem-solvers.
Principal Mrs. Arti Sharma and Director Mrs. Usha Gahlaut emphasized the importance of such educational trips, stating, “These experiences broaden students’ horizons and help them connect what they learn in the classroom to the real world. We hope that this trip will inspire our students to pursue their passions and make a positive impact on society.”
As the students returned to school, they were buzzing with excitement and eager to share their experiences with their classmates. This one-day trip was a testament to the school’s commitment to providing a well-rounded education that goes beyond textbooks.
