आज वैदिक गर्ल्स सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल व किड्स शैैशव स्कूल में अध्यापकों के कौशल को निखारने के लिए कोर्स करवाए गए।जिसमे बच्चो के कौशल को जिन कोर्सों के माध्यम से अध्यापक बच्चों को उच्च स्तरीय शिक्षा प्रदान करने के काबिल बनाते हैं। प्रशिक्षण के दौरान अध्यापकों को नई शिक्षा नीति के बारे में बताया। खेल खेल में शिक्षा ,बच्चों के मनोविज्ञान पर आधारित शिक्षा ,क्रिया विधि पर आधारित शिक्षा के नवाचार के बारे में बताया गया। शिक्षा में नवाचार ही शिक्षकों को अध्यापन में शिक्षा को रोचक बनाने छात्रों की रुचि बढ़ाने में सहायक होता है। शिक्षकों को बीच-बीच में मनोरंजक खेल भी करवाए गए ।जिससे वे तनाव को दूर करने के गुण सीख सके। अध्यापकों को ‘क्लास रूम मैनेजमैंट’ के गुर सिखाए। साथ ही अध्यापिकाओ को यह भी बताया कि न नकारात्मक शब्दों का प्रयोग ना करते हुए सही सकारात्मक शब्दों का प्रयोग करें। गतिविधि के माध्यम से पढ़ाई को आसान कैसे बनाया जा सकता है।दिल्ली से आई प्रशिक्षिका मिस कनिका घई ने अध्यापकों को प्रशिक्षण के गुर सिखाए ।प्राचार्या उषा गहलोत ने अध्यापकों को भी प्रोत्साहित किया ।

Kidz Shaishav and Vedic Girls School makes a point of educating its learners beyond the regular curriculum. Our co-curricular activities edify them with learning in discipline, fitness, team spirit and confidence and help them develop a well-rounded personality.

Our curriculum  is based on the inquiry-based learning approach. Kidz and Vedic  curriculum follows the Inquiry based approach which is based on the natural learning behaviour of a human being. These learning stages are as follows:

Enquire – As curiosity in children is obvious, the curio curriculum is planned in a way which draws the child’s attention and encourages them to enquire.

Explore – This curiosity then urges the child to look into clues and explore facts in order to resolve their curiosity. The curriculum encourages the child to explore the facts through experiments and enormous exposure.

Establish – The experiments and exploring of the concepts ultimately leads the child to establish facts and learnings. Now they have developed a new learning in their minds. The curriculum provides a guided assistance to the child in order to enable them to learn in a well- guided manner.

Express – Once the child learns a concept, it becomes necessary to express the new learning. The curriculum helps the child express their learnings and implement them in their daily lives.

This approach helps to:

  • Focus on children to discover independently or as members of a group.
  • Encourage asking questions, experiments, use trial and error, discuss, and evaluate.
  • Assist the children to find their own answers rather than just learn facts.
  • Promote creative thinking and problem-solving skills in the children. They can ask their own questions and find their own answers.

Teaching methodology/Effective innovative teaching

The biggest challenge any teacher faces is capturing the students’ attention and putting across ideas in such a way that it stays with them long after they have left the classroom. For this to happen effective innovative ideas are implemented for better classroom experiences. Teachers reinvent their teaching methods and make their classes interesting. We take 5 projects per year that is the base of our curriculum. We keep on introducing new projects taking along the previous ones. Listed below are some of the strategies we follow.

CREATIVE TEACHING-Taking the help of creative tools to stimulate creativity, we include playful games or visual exercises that excite the young minds and capture their interest. Also, this encourages them to come up with their ideas and gives them the freedom to explore.

E-LEARNING- We in-cooperate e-learning in our sessions with power point presentations, movies, pictorial materials and audio-visual tools that help their imagination thrive and grow and understand the concepts better.

BRAINSTORMING- These sessions are a great way to get the creative juices flowing with multiple brains focusing on one single idea to get numerous ideas involving everyone into discussions.

REAL WORLD LEARNING– We link our lessons to real world learning infusing real world experiences. Relating and demonstrating to real life situations makes material easy to understand and learn. It sparks their interests and makes the sessions all the more interesting.

CLASSES OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM- Some lessons are best learnt, when they are taught outside the classroom in the lap of nature. Children find it fresh and exciting and the learning remains forever with them.

ROLE PLAY- Teaching through role play, story dramatisation, dance, music, rhymes are a great way to make children step out of their comfort zone and develop their inter personal skills.

SUBJECT INTEGRATION- Our curriculum is structured to nourish the whole being-the mind, heart and body. So all the activities are creatively balanced with the subjects to bring about the best learning.

ASSESSMENT OF LEARNING- It involves working with range of available evidences throughout the process of activities that enables the teacher to check the child’s performance and keep the track of one’s progress, identify the learning gaps, their strengths and weaknesses, anecdotes and help them overcome using various remedial strategies
