“If every 8 year old In the world Is taught meditation, We will eliminate Violence from The world within One generation.”

Our schools hold yoga classes for students. We practice yoga everyday which prepares our students to be emotionally, physically and spiritually strong throughout their lives. Through yoga children learn regular meditation, pranayaama, intentional breathing, and a robust ‘asana’ practice, they are practicing patience and single-minded focus, improving their physical and emotional awareness, and cultivating resilience.

Our school looks at these as essential life skills that will help students navigate through social and emotional challenges during their school years as well as throughout their professional and personal lives.

Yoga can be the perfect addition to the school curriculum as it can help children keep their minds calm and grow holistically. Yoga is a treasure that has been inherited for the benefit and welfare of future generations to come.

Here are some of the benefits of including yoga for children in school:

  • Improves memory and anxiety– yoga will not only keep you calm but also improve your memory concentration and will help students to score well in their exams. Matsyasana, virasana and Bhramari are some asanas that enhance your concentration level.

  • Helps to bring peace of mind — meditation is a powerful way to relax and slow down the mind as any kind of breath awareness. When in seated meditation pose, you take awareness to your breathing and everything becomes more relaxed and your mind more peaceful.
  • Improves self – control – yoga helps students to improve self-control. Savasana or the corpse pose is one of the best yoga asanas to calm your mind and body. This relaxing asana will help you control anger.
